She is a psychotherapist in private practice and has studied and taught chi gung, tai chi, and various eastern and western meditative practices for more than 20 years. Patricia began her study of Iyengar yoga in 1993. Since 1997, she has studied Vinyassa yoga and in 2001 she began practicing Vipassana meditation. Her skills come from both the Iyengar and Vinyasa tradition where alignment, steadiness and overall awareness of the body/mind relationship are continually emphasized. Using a slow paced style and focusing on deep internal movements, she encourages her students to embrace each pose and each breath with compassion, and wholeheartedness.
